The core products in our programme will comprise modules from the 360º solutions platform, and our technical document management system proArc, which can in turn be integrated with ECM products from Microsoft, Oracle and OpenText. The potential of Software Innovation’s core modules for integration with other platforms will however be maintained and strengthened by supporting open standards and a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA and Web services).
The great majority of our customers use microsoft’s desktop software. microsoft is investing substantial resources in software for collaboration over the Internet, for support to mobile users, and for “live communication”, which are highly suitable for further development of concepts for Software Innovation’s customers. Our products are also developed on a .net platform, making it easy to build on microsoft’s product portfolio.
More and more of the processes in which control and management of information and documents are important will take place interactively between the enterprise and its partners or customers. Functionality for relationship management will therefore play a strategic role for enterprises, whether their business involves case workflow, service to customers, or collaboration in projects.
This is a real-world situation that has formed the point of departure for Software Innovation’s work for many years. It is also the essence of our 360-degree solutions, in which relationship management plays a vital role.
